DESCRIPTION: This project is the construction of Phase I of Basic Training Complex IV. The work includes, but not limited to, the construction of battalion headquarters with classrooms, two (2) barracks/company operations facilities, a lawn equipment building, dining facility, a running track, physical training pits, building information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation, and Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS) connection and incidental related work.
CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The Estimated Price Range is between $45,000,000 and $60,000,000, in accordance with FARS 36.204.
NAICS: The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 236220 – Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Size Limitation is $36.5M.
TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This is an UNRESTRICTED competitive procurement. The resulting award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract.
ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 08 May 2015. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. Additional details can be found in the solicitation when it is posted to http://www.fbo.gov. The approximate due date for proposals is 09 June 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Charleston, SC time (EST).
