The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to repair and renovate existing areas of Building O-1933 and construction an approximate 1,000 SF veterinary space expansion. The work will consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to perform all work in strict accordance with the specifications, schedules, drawings, and other contract documents. The scope of work of this contract includes, but is not limited to, the following specific items of work:
Renovate a 10,000SF kennel facility to include drainage improvements, wall repair and finish improvements, installation of new or upgrading electrical, HVAC, and plumbing, and roof repair/replacement. New work consists of a 1,000SF veterinary space expansion with small basement, block construction, exterior metal stairs, medical gas lines, and mechanical room.
The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price.
The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about June 17th 2016. The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This solicitation is a 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $36,500,000.00.
